About Me and the Services I Provide:
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with an M.A. and Ph.D., from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. Over the last 27 years, I have worked in a variety of settings providing primarily psychodynamically oriented psychotherapy to executives, professionals, individuals and couples experiencing a wide range of psychological, emotional, relationship and career difficulties. My practice specializes in:
* Individual psychodynamically oriented psychotherapy;
* Marriage, couples and relationship counseling;
* Treatment for depression and anxiety;
* Addiction and recovery issues;
* Therapy for Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA) and co-dependency;
* EAP and executive coaching for a variety of career and job concerns;
* Navigating change;
* Management and organizational consulting.
In addition to my private practice, I have worked as an organizational consultant for startups as well as a behavioral health care consultant focused on best practices. In the past, I have been a speaker at local and national conferences where I have presented on a variety of issues. These presentations have included administering corporate Employee Assistance programs, assessing and preventing workplace violence, organizational change, managing mergers and acquisitions as well as managed healthcare best practices.
Through these experiences, I have gained extensive knowledge and training that allows me to work with and treat a full range of career, communication, psychological and substance abuse and recovery issues.
